Aditya Hrudayam - Purpose Explained.

Aditya Hrudayam was inspring words of Sage Agasthaya told to Lord Rama before begining of Rama and Ramana War. Lord Rama was very distressed and feeling tired before the begining of War with Ramana. Because to reach Ramana , Lord Rama faced many hurdles and many wars. After passing all hurdles Lord Rama reached final destination i.e  Ramana and war  between them is about begin. Then Sage Agasthaya approached Lord Rama and inspired him through his words. The same thing explained in Aditya Hrudayam Stanza 2.

Stanza2:-

Daivathaischa samagamya drushtumabhyagathoranam

Upagamyabravidhramam Agastho Bhagavan Rushihi

Meaning:-

Sage Agasthya came along with Devas to see the War between Rama and Ramana. Agasthya approched Lord Rama and inspired Lord Rama through his Words. The Words of Agasthya was none other than Aditya Hrudayam which runs in 31 satnzas
